Collingswood PFLAG Vice President to Participate in Panel Discussion on Race, Ethnicity
The discussion is in Haddon Township Thursday night.

Haddon Township, NJ -- NJ Pen will host what it is calling an “uncomfortable conversation about ethnicity, identity and community” Thursday night.
The panel discussion will take place at William G. Rohrer Memorial Branch of the Camden County Library System, 15 MacArthur Boulevard in Haddon Township on Thursday night, Aug. 11, 6 p.m.
The panel discussion will be by a question-and-answer session about the local impact of race, ethnicity and gender identity.

PFLAG Collingswood Vice-President Jim DeSimone will participate, along with Camden County Freeholder Jonathan Young, Rev. Alice Cook of Rhoads Temple UM Church,, Certified School Psychologist Michele Messer and David Snyder, Executive Director of the Jewish Community Relations Council of South Jersey.
“This is a conversation that needs to take place on a national level, on a community level and in our own homes,” Young said. “We need to reach out to one another, listen to one another and understand each other so that we can all continue to grow as a society.”
