After last week's unusually slow-moving pace—marred by the final stretch of spring break and inclement weather—Collingswood High School will get back on track in the first week of May.
Tennis—
After going 1-2 in competition, and concluding their week with a 5-0 loss to Haddonfield, the varsity tennis team looks to recover in its three matches this week. Senior captains Randy Watkins and Albert Charles Cavallaro look to lead the Panthers Monday, in a home game against Overbrook. The back-to-back finishes Tuesday, with Panthers traveling to Gateway Regional High School. With no competition scheduled for Wednesday, Panthers will take the court again Thursday, traveling to Overbrook High School to play the Rams.

Volleyball—
Panthers volleyball, the group holding the best record this spring, will be found inside the high school’s gymnasium this week. The varsity team currently sits at an impressive 7-2, and will get three chances to improve their record this week. On Monday, they'll travel to Camden High School for a 3:45 p.m. game. On Wednesday, they’re home against Williamstown High School. And on Friday, Panthers will finish their week by visiting Woodrow Wilson High School, to compete against the Mighty Tigers.
Softball—
After a convincing 25-1 victory over Lindenwold last week, the varsity softball team cannot afford to lose that momentum heading into the last few weeks of the season at 4-5. Panthers will play at home Monday, against Haddon Heights High School. They'll end this week with a two-game road trip, first with a Wednesday visit to Paulsboro High School, and finally at Haddonfield Memorial High School this Friday.
Baseball—
Panthers' varsity baseball team, the busiest of all Panthers athletics this week, will play four games—coming after two big losses at this weekend's Roseboro Tournament. The team’s record fell back under .500 after losing 14-0 to Bordentown High School, and 11-3 to Kingsway Regional High School at The Knight Park this past Saturday. Panthers look to rebound while visiting Haddon Heights High School on Monday. They’re set to follow with consecutive home games—starting with a Wednesday game against Paulsboro High School, then Thursday against West Deptford High School, finally finishing out the week against Haddonfield Memorial High School this Friday.
