East Orange Man Fatally Shot in South Jersey: Police

James Rhodes was shot in Camden Friday night.

An East Orange man was fatally shot in Camden this weekend, according to Camden County Prosecutor Mary Eva Colalillo and Camden County Police Chief Scott Thomson.

Camden County Police found 24-year-old James Rhodes lying in the alleyway located the 2800 block of North Constitution Road and North Congress Road in Camden around 9:20 p.m. Friday night.

He was transported to Cooper University Hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 9:40 p.m.

The investigation into the shooting is ongoing. No arrests had been made as of Saturday afternoon.
