Cherry Hill, NJ (May 5, 2012) –  The new Spring Hills Cherry Hill Luxury Senior Living Community  opens their door for neighbors to participate in their first-ever “Wellness Wednesday Health Fair” on Wednesday, May 16, 2012 from 1 to 4:30 pm.  Spring Hills Cherry Hill is located at 1450 Marlton Pike East (Rt. 70), Cherry Hill, NJ 08034, an address formerly known as the site of the Sheraton Poste hotel.  This FREE event is devoted to all aspects of wellness for mind, body and spirit and offers guests a wealth of interactive opportunities, from fitness classes to mini spa treatments, blood pressure screenings and tempting fruity treats, all accompanied by live music. 

This upbeat community outreach event is built around signature themes that are central to the Spring Hills Senior Communities residential experience, fostering lifelong opportunities to renew, savor and thrive.    “Wellness Wednesday” guests are invited to explore physical renewal by meeting with Haddonfield chiropractor Dr. Jeff McGunnigle, trying out half-hour sampler classes in tai chi with well-known local instructor Morris Siegel, R.N., M.A., and by doing super-popular Zumba routines with personal trainer Colleen Johnson.  Blood pressure screenings will be provided by the medical and nursing associates of Spring Hills Cherry Hill.

 A menu of treats to savor throughout the afternoon will include a complimentary buffet and fruit smoothies from Spring Hills’ noted chef Norman Weiler.   In addition, there will be live music, mini spa treatments like aromatherapy and hand massages plus beauty salon demos, all promoting the relaxation that helps seniors thrive.

Tours of the community will be offered throughout the afternoon, with associates explaining the revolutionary WellAWARE sensor system --- the first to be used in the Delaware Valley --- providing a giant leap forward in health security for eldercare.
