Garfield Park Academy to Host "Diamond in the Rough" Dinner and Golf Outing

Funds Raised Will Help Willingboro Private Non-Profit School Offer Enhanced Programs for Students with Disabilities

Westampton, NJ - The 2016 Eugene Morse Memorial Dinner and Golf Outing will be held on June 2, 2016, at Deerwood Country Club in Westampton, New Jersey. Funds raised through the event help support the work of Garfield Park Academy, a private non-profit school that serves children, teens and young adults with learning, social, and behavioral disabilities, including those with autism.

“Our event is dedicated in honor of my father, Eugene Morse, one of the founders of Garfield Park Academy, in celebration of the enduring positive influence he had at our school,” said Dr. Steven Morse, Superintendent. “Each year, our event grows and we hope that this year’s event — our sixth in his honor — will be another fitting tribute to his life and work.”

Deerwood Country Club features a “Carolina Style” course enhanced by the natural beauty of adjacent wetland and wooded preserves, with a pond or preserve coming into play on a number of holes. The course is as visually stunning as it is challenging. Skills contests feature top prizes of $15,000. Golf registration fee of $150 includes greens fees, cart, lunch, cocktail hour and the dinner.
