As a retired truck driver I have been following this issue very closely. From what I can see online, in the newspapers, the Internet and government it has basically been totally supressed. Do I smell George Orwell's Book 1984 here? YES I darn sure do. The strike is about our gripes about HOW our government is being run from the destruction of our Civil Rights under the Constitution and Bill of Rights to the lousy performance by Congress as they stumble over themselves for "face time" on the TV pushing Obamacare, and run from crisis to crisis instead of really solving anything. Add in what the Federal Department of Transportation un their regulations of CSA2010 which imposes radical changes in how the ICC operates and how they want to dump many responsibilities from the truck companies onto the drivers. Our country is in the toilet and many people either have their heads up their backsides or in the sand. As a fact, it does not matter if they are Democrat or Republican, our government (the drones we elect) have failed, are failing and basically have NO CLUE what is going on (nor do they care as long as their pockets get lined and re-elected). America drinks the Kool Aid put out by our government and the news media pukes up the same stuff to the American Citizen. I call it the dumbing down of America. They have fogotten the ROOTS of what made America GREAT!
