Ingerman Opens Leasing Office and Models for Phase II of The Collings at the LumberYard
More than 60 Percent of The Collings North's 70 Luxury Apartments Already Leased Out
Ingerman, a leading developer, manager and builder of multi-family apartment communities, has announced that it plans to open the new leasing office on November 15 as the company begins to show a fully-furnished model apartment at The Collings North, the second and final phase of The Collings at the Lumberyard in downtown Collingswood, N.J.
Reflecting the strong demand for luxury apartments in this transit-oriented community, more than 60 percent of The Collings North’s 70 rental residences are already leased. This success follows on the heels of last year’s roll out of The Collings South, which saw all 34 premier apartments and townhomes in the community’s first phase lease out within two months.
The Collings’ location – in the heart of Collingswood’s downtown business district – is a principal factor behind its popularity. A mass transit station, offering PATCO service to Center City Philadelphia, as well as New York City, Baltimore and Washington D.C., sits a short walk from the community, which also affords residents direct access to Collingswood’s numerous renowned restaurants and shops.

“There is a tremendous desire in the market among renters who want to live in or near walkable downtown locales,” said Brad Ingerman, President and CEO of Ingerman. “The Collings at the LumberYard was created to meet this demand, and we are very excited to be opening our new leasing office and model apartment to allow renters to experience, first-hand, the complete living experience we are offering.”
Housed in a five-story, new construction mixed-use building that includes ground-floor retail as well as Ingerman’s new corporate headquarters, the one- and two-bedroom luxury apartments at The Collings North range from 800 square feet to nearly 1,300 square feet. These maintenance-free, pet-friendly residences include gourmet kitchens with quartz countertops and Energy Star appliances, generous closet space and full-size washers and dryers.

Residents of The Collings also have access to a host of community lifestyle amenities, including a courtyard with grill, common-area Wi-Fi, a community room and a state-of-the-art fitness center.
Move-ins at The Collings North will begin in late November.
Collingswood is one of New Jersey’s most vibrant small towns. In fact, because of its eclectic shopping, cultural offerings, many parks and acclaimed “Restaurant Row,” the town was named by Men’s Journal magazine and one of the best places in America to go car free. And the accolades don’t stop there. The American Planning Association named Collingswood’s Haddon Avenue, the street where The Collings is located, as one of America’s “Top Ten Great Streets.”
“Building a transit-oriented community goes beyond identifying an area with available space near a mass transit station,” Ingerman said. “The town has to be one where people want to be because of a multitude of cultural and entertainment options and a warm atmosphere. There is not a town in America that surpasses Collingswood in this regard.”
