“I commend Kennedy Health for their commitment to our nation’s bravest, and for setting one of the objectives of their event to serve our veterans,” Gentek-Mayer said. “These new tools will be an asset to our county’s veterans who are injured or battling sickness. The office of veteran affairs goes above and beyond for our local military members and this will be one more resource we can now provide to them.”

The wheelchairs will be made available to be loaned out to Veterans in Camden County. They will be built on Wednesday as part of a community outreach team-building exercise. The wheelchairs will be assembled by more than 100 Kennedy managers, working in teams to construct them.
