Longtime Camden Parking Authority Employee Stole From Customers: Prosecutor
A Bellmawr man allegedly didn't submit $765 in cash he collected from customers to the PACC in 2012.

A 17-year employee with the Parking Authority of the City of Camden (PACC) has been charged with allegedly stealing funds from his employer, Camden County Prosecutor Mary Eva Colalillo announced on Wednesday.
Joseph R. Belfiore, 62, of Bellmawr, was charged with one count of theft for allegedly stealing $765 in cash while working at a PACC parking garage on the Camden Waterfront on May 5, 2012.
Belfiore allegedly didn’t submit parking fees he collected from customers to the PACC.

Detectives from the Camden County Prosecutor’s Office Special Prosecution Unit determined Belfiore had allegedly stolen the funds based on financial records and other evidence after the PACC reported suspicious behavior by Belfiore to police.
He was served with a summons on Wednesday and is scheduled to appear in court Aug. 20.
