Man Convicted in 2014 Assault and Robbery of 55-Year-Old Woman in South Jersey: Prosecutor

A Camden man has been convicted in connection with an assault and robbery in 2014, Camden County Prosecutor Mary Eva Colalillo and Camden County Police Chief Scott Thomson said on Friday.
Quameer Hence, 25, was convicted by a jury on Thursday of first-degree robbery, second-degree aggravated assault and third-degree criminal restraint.
The jury decided Hence was guilty based on evidence provided by Assistant Prosecutor Kristen Harberg that said Hence beat and robbed a 55-year-old woman in an alley behind the 1100 block of Thurman Street in Camden during the evening of Sept. 15 and early morning of Sept. 16 in 2014.

Sentencing is scheduled for Aug. 5.
