The Motown Gala Recreates a Groovy Night of Glam on February 21

Samaritan Healthcare & Hospice Releases 2015 Annual Gala Details, Mindy Holman Named 2015 Circle of Excellence Honoree

The Motown Gala, Samaritan Healthcare & Hospice’s annual Celebration of Life Gala, will allow guests to step back in time – if only for one night—for an evening of sequins, glamour, groovy tunes and great auction prizes. This year, the event will be held on Saturday, February 21, beginning at 7 p.m. at the Crowne Plaza Route 70 in Cherry Hill, NJ. During the gala, Samaritan will award its annual Circle of Excellence award, host a live art experience and draw winners for its highly anticipated Delightful Dining raffle.

Holman Automotive, headquartered in Pennsauken, has returned as Presenting Sponsor. Mindy Holman, President and CEO of Holman Enterprises, and her family are long-time supporters of Samaritan’s programs and services for those coping with issues of aging, serious illness and grief. This year, Samaritan will present the Circle of Excellence award to Holman for her professional and personal dedication to Samaritan and the community.

All those who attend this year’s gala will enjoy dinner, live music, dancing, live and silent auctions. Guests will also be treated to a live art experience and auction with nationally-known artist William Butler of Gallery Eleven One in Camden and a special appearance by guest emcee Rick Williams, ABC6 Action News anchor.

Additionally, guests will have their last chance to purchase Delightful Dining raffle tickets before two lucky winners are formally announced during the Gala. At $10 each, these raffle tickets, which are on sale now, offer folks the chance to win twelve (12) $100 dining gift certificates (valued at a total of $1,200) to some of the area’s finest restaurants.

Those who attend are encouraged, but not required, to dress in period attire as they kick up their heels to the live music of The Infernos Band, America’s #1 Show Band and the area’s premier live performance group.
