Night Market To Fill Down Time During Collingswood's Crafts and Fine Arts Festival
Collingswood's Crafts and Fine Arts Festival returns this weekend.

COLLINGSWOOD, NJ — Collingswood’s annual Crafts and Fine Arts Festival returns the weekend of Aug. 19 and 20. This year, the borough is adding a new twist. Typically, on the Saturday night of the festival, Haddon Avenue is closed for the night after 5 p.m. However, this year marks the inaugural Collingswood Night Market.
The event consists a sidewalk sale, an outdoor movie or mini-concert, games, dance and a fitness class. Specials and entertainment will run until 9 p.m. along Haddon Avenue. Local business owners came up with the idea in an effort to take advantage of the down time during the Crafts and Fine Arts Festival, which permits artists to leave their tents in place for the weekend.
“This is all about using our spaces to provide more for our community and the region,” Collingswood Director of Community Development Cass Duffey said.
