Norcross Outraising Cobb in First Congressional District Race
State Sen. Donald Norcross has raised about $1 million, while Republican Garry Cobb has raised about $10,000, according to nj.com.

State Sen. Donald Norcross (D-3) has raised 10 times the amount of money his Republican opponent has raised in the race for the vacant First Congressional District seat, nj.com reports.
Norcross has raised about $1 million, compared with about $10,000 raised by former Philadelphia Eagle Garry Cobb, according to the report.
The most recent reporting period ended Sept. 30, so a recent fundraiser in which U.S. House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi appeared wasn’t factored in.

Earlier this month, Cobb blamed his inability to raise money on fears of being unable to do business in South Jersey in retaliation for crossing Norcross. Norcross’s brother, George, is recognized as a political powerbroker in South Jersy.
Norcross and Cobb are running for the seat vacated by Rob Andrews, who resigned in February to take a position with Dilworth Paxson.
