Collingswood will be the favorite in the Group 2 playoffs.

In a storied 100th anniversary season, the Collingswood High School field hockey team has earned the No. 1 seed in the NJSIAA South Jersey Group 2 playoffs.
The Panthers* (19-1 after two victories in friendlies against Moorestown and St. Joe's, their only loss coming in a non-divisional match-up against Eastern) earned a first-round bye and will take on the winner of No. 8 Lower Cape May and No. 9 Barnegat in the quarterfinals on Thursday, Nov. 1.
Colonial Conference rival West Deptford earned the No. 2 seed and will also receive a first-round bye. The Eagles will face the winner of Saturday’s quarterfinal between No. 7 Middle Township and No. 10 Sterling.
