Michelle Colwell, an Oaklyn resident, was diagnosed with Stage 4 Uterine Cancer on 12/31/14. After a short battle, she was sadly taken from us on 1/23/15, at the age of 45. A memorial beef and beer fundraiser will be held in honor of Michelle. Michelle was a graduate West Deptford High School, Class of 1988 and her husband, Charles Colwell, graduated from Collingswood High School, Class of 1978. Michelle was an active member of the Oaklyn and Collingswood communities and had had the oppourtunity to bring joy to so many during her short time.
The event will be held on Saturday, February 7th 2015 at National Park Banquet Hall in National Park, NJ. All proceeds raised from this event will go directly to Michelle’s family in order to assist in paying for funeral and medical costs incurred during this difficult time. Tickets for the events cost $25 and there will also be a Chinese Auction and 50/50.
