Police Investigate Early Morning Fatal Shooting in South Jersey
Police found 26-year-old Jahquae Walker suffering from a gunshot wound lying inside a home just after midnight.

A Camden man was fatally shot inside a home in the city early Wednesday morning, Camden County Prosecutor Mary Eva Colalillo and Camden County Police Chief Scott Thomson said.
Police found 26-year-old Jahquae Walker suffering from a gunshot wound lying inside a residence while responding to a ShotSpotter activation for multiple gunshots and a 911 call on the 800 block of Walnut Street in Camden around 12:14 a.m.
Walker was transported to Cooper University Hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead at about 3:58 a.m.

The investigation into the shooting is ongoing. No arrests have been made at this time.
