Public Vote Possible On Collingswood Schools Project: Report

COLLINGSWOOD, NJ — The Collingswood Public School District’s Board of Education will decide later this month whether it wants to put its proposed $13.7 million project before the public for a vote.
The Board of Education will take a final vote at its Nov. 20 meeting on whether it will put the proposed project out for a referendum in March, njpen.com reports. The project includes replacing the current football field with one consisting of artificial turf, as well as a second artificial turf field, a 1,500-foot home grandstand with a press box and new concession stands, bathrooms and team locker rooms, among other improvements.
