The front page headlines of the newspaper read, " Another Glitch in the Health Care Exchange". All bad news about the Health Exchange Website and Exchange would make it seem like the Affordable Health Care Act is awful.
The realities I am seeing are quite the contrary. As a financial advisor, since January, I’ve helped some dozen families and individuals navigate the healthcare.gov website and get great coverage at very affordable prices.
A mid fifties gentleman was looking at a $7200 bill for health insurance. He had been toughing it out with no insurance and no doctors for years. The trouble with the exchange is that when moving through the application, it is like a maze. A wrong turn or a misunderstood answer could explode into an 8 hour ordeal. (Trust me I’ve done it).

A couple quick tips.
1) Find out if you qualify for a premium tax credit.
2) Select a plan that suits you. (Silver plans give the most value.)
3) Do the application.
