Reverend Evers Park Stewardship Day, Camden NJ
May 21, 2016, 9 AM to 1 PM; Camden, NJ; Volunteer doing planting and improving the park ecology. Ages 10 and up. Lunch & snacks.

WHEN: Saturday May 21, 2016, 9 AM to 1 PM
WHERE: Reverend Evers Park, opposite the Creative Arts Morgan Village Academy in Camden, NJ. If driving, head to 951 Hunter Street (off of Morgan Boulevard) and drive into the park to our parking location.
WHAT WE WILL DO: Planting trees, mulching, and litter cleanup.

WHY: We are establishing a native buffer along Newton Creek, and taking care of trees and a vegetated swale we installed last year, to help improve water quality and habitat while beautifying the park.
WHAT TO BRING: Dress in layers based on the weather. Make sure to wear long pants and old shoes/sneakers or work boots. We’ll hold the event rain or shine. We’ll provide gloves and tools.
