Road Work In Collingswood Begins Wednesday

COLLINGSWOOD, NJ — PSE&G crews will restore concrete on Haddon Avenue in Collingswood beginning on Wednesday, Aug. 22, Camden County officials announced on Monday. The eastbound lane between Fern and East Linden avenues will be closed during work, between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. Park Avenue will be available as a detour.

“Motorists driving through the area can expect additional traffic, sudden stops and possible congestion while crews are at work,” Freeholder Susan Shin Angulo, liaison to the Camden County Department of Public Works, said. “Until construction is completed, motorists should try to plan around the area and take extra caution when driving through the construction zone.”

Work is expected to take between one and two weeks to complete, depending on the weather.
