'Small' Collingswood Gets Big Honor
This designation shows that "bigger isn't always better," said the organization providing Collingswood with the accolade.

COLLINGSWOOD, NJ — Collingswood placed third in USA Today's 10best in its category of Best Small Town Cultural Scene, according to the 10best editors.
"We’re thrilled to achieve this recognition," Collingswood Mayor Jim Maley said on Collingswood's website. "It really speaks to the fabric of our community, and how our local businesses and artists work alongside borough government to make our town not only a destination but a great place to live."
Places like the Scottish Rite Theatre and Grand Ballroom and — according to the U.S. Census — a population of about 14,121 put the borough well within the 10best criteria: Being a United States municipality with fewer than 25,000 residents and offering museums, art galleries, performing arts and many events.
