South Jersey Man Charged In Loan Modification Scheme; Police Seek More Victims

Anyone who has dealt with Scott Feltman or Baymar Capital Fundings is urged to contact authorities.

A Mount Laurel man has been charged with one count of third-degree theft by deception in an alleged fraudulent loan modification deal, the Camden County Prosecutor’s Office and Collingswood Police Department announced Tuesday morning.

Scott Feltman is alleged to have signed a contract with the victim to act as the mortgage broker under the guise of Baymar Capital Funding LLC for a loan modification.

However, he never applied that money to the victim’s mortgage, and the victim was ultimately evicted from their home, authorities said.
