Search For 2 Possible 'Black-Hooded' Killers Who Shot South Jersey Woman: Cops
Details have been revealed as K-9 units continue searching for a suspect who shot a New Jersey woman in the head, killing her, police said.
Police may be searching for two possible black-hooded killers after a 45-year-old South Jersey woman was shot Sunday at her farmhouse.
A 911 call obtained by NBC10 Philadelphia shows the father of Deanna Marie Scordo, 45, of Winslow Township telling the dispatcher that two men wearing black hoods broke into the home, shot his daughter, and left her in a corner.
"You were sleeping and you were woken up to two gunshots?" the dispatcher said in a 911 audio found here.

"Yeah and my daughter is laying on the floor," her father said.
"What were they wearing?" the dispatcher later asked.

"Black hoods," he said.
The report noted that a $5,000 robbery may have been the motivation for the murder. K-9 units have been searching for a suspect who shot Scordo woman, police said.
Scordo was found by police inside of her home suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Officers attempted to render aid, but the victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
Winslow Township Police had responded to reports of gunshots inside a residence on the 700 block of Bairdmore Avenue in Winslow Township at approximately 3:49 a.m.
The investigation into the shooting is ongoing. Tributes, meanwhile, have been pouring in for Scordo, who was the Administrator of Spectrum Rehabilitation, LLC since 2007, according to her obituary.
"Her life revolved around the joys that her nephew and nieces brought her each day," her obituary said.
Scordo was an avid sports fan of the San Fransisco 49ers and the North Carolina Tarheels, and she attended their basketball games each year. She was passionate and loving about her family, her friends, and her work.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her visitation Friday from 9:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at St. Joseph's RC Church, N. 3rd & French St. in Hammonton followed by a 12 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial.
Interment Greenmount Cemetery, Hammonton. At the family's request in lieu of flowers, make donations to the Wilson's Disease Association,1732 First Avenue #20043, New York, N.Y. 10128.
