Student's Shooting Threat Against Camden Co. School Deemed Not Credible: Officials

The school entered Monday with an increased police presence.

PENNSAUKEN, NJ — A student made a threat against a school in Camden County, prompting an increased police presence on Monday, officials said.

On Sunday, police investigated a comment involving the threat of a shooting that would target Pennsauken Intermediate School the next day.

The threat was made by a student, according to Pennsauken Public Schools.

Pennsauken police investigated the threat and determined it wasn't credible. There is no enhanced risk to students and staff, police said.

Additional law enforcement are at the school, which educates Grades 4-5.
