The hit-and-run incident is under investigation by the Camden County Prosecutor’s Office Major Crimes Unit.
Carrasquillo allegedly got into an argument with a group of people outside a store at Chestnut Street near Broadway.
He is accused of walking away from the argument, getting into his brown 1992 Honda Civic, and driving directly at two people on foot he was arguing with.
Those people were able to avoid being hit, but Carrasquillo then drove at two other people on bicycles who had also been involved in the argument.
He struck them both. One is in critical but stable condition at Cooper Hospital. The other was treated and released.
Investigating officers found one of the Honda’s license plates at the scene of the hit-and-run and connected the vehicle with Carrasquillo.
