Temptations Rock the Rite Sunday Night
A Motown classic sensation, The Temptations, brought their favorite hits to Collingswood.
Accompanied by a 14-piece band, including a horn section, the mighty Temptations rocked the Scottish Rite Auditorium Sunday, with a medley of new songs and old classics.
And their set sent the enthusiastic crowd into an explosion of applause, and "Smiling Faces."
Ever the showmen, the Temptations featured choreographed moves from Motown's past, showing their faithful fans why they're still around, singing and grooving.

Sunday's set included favorites like "Ain't Too Proud to Beg," and "Papa Was a Rolling Stone." But the group's single most well-received song of the night was the Temptation's own anthem, "My Girl."
Fronted by the band's only original, still-living member, Otis Williams, Monday's lineup included the newer faces of Terry Weeks, Ron Tyson, Bruce Williamson and Joe Herndon.

But even die-hard fans expressed surprising joy Sunday, at how similar the current lineup sounds compared to the original members.
And from 7 p.m. until around 9 p.m. Sunday evening, original member Williams—who has 50 years performing under his belt and is still ticking—kept up with the four, newer members of his ensemble, as the group glided across the stage in harmony of both voice and foot.
"Big Daddy," as Williams is affectionately referred to by fans, looked and performed many years younger than his current age of 69.
And with songs that never die, and beats that never go out of style, the Temptations will be singing America's favorite tunes for years to come—and that's a fact any fan knows isn't "Just My Imagination Running Away With Me."
