Upkeep Of Street Signs Needs Help From Collingswood Residents
A bad storm is just one of the things that can take a toll on street signs, according to the borough.
COLLINGSWOOD, NJ — Collingswood Borough is looking for some help from its residents in sprucing up a particular part of the municipality, according to a post that appeared on its Facebook page.
Snow, sleet, ice, rain and — whatever that combination of all of these things that end up in big, tall piles after the plows have come through — takes a toll on many things, such as street signs, the post suggested. The weather can bend them, shape them, dirty them ... you get the idea.
Those who see such tattered signs should contact the borough's public works department by going to collingswood.com, clicking connect, then clicking the resident self-service portal and entering a few details regarding where the damaged sign is (or upload a picture of it, if possible).
