Wine Tasting to Benefit Collingswood Crew Club

This April, join your neighbors at a wine tasting and lecture for a good cause.

On Friday, April 8, legendary hosts from Moore Brothers Wine Company will hold a wine tasting and lecture event in the borough.

The event, which begins at 7:30 p.m., will be held at Collingswood Community Center—located at 30 East Collings Ave., next to the firehouse.

Moore Brothers, known worldwide as famous wine merchants, only offer estate-bottled, conscientiously selected wine options that are handcrafted by small-farming vintners—who are of the world's most finest wine producers.

According to the Moore Brothers, their wine tastings offer quite an experience—in which Moore's personal and direct relationship with producers gives them an edge over the commonplace experience found by using liquor store wine merchants.

A Moore wine-tasting is an encounter that's even received praise from Zagat, who honored Moore with its coveted highest rating numerous years in a row.

And Moore is inviting Collingswood to smell, taste and swirl—whether your taste is commonly being an occasional sampler, habitual tippler or noble oenophile.

The tasting will be delectable. And the lecture will be informative—Moore's finest will teach tasters the fine art of matching wine with both food and with guests.

The journey begins with true tales of far-off lands, from the vine to the fruit—to your own stemmed wine glass.

All proceeds of the wine tasting event will support the Collingswood Crew Club.

Tickets cost $30 per person, and ticket pricing includes palate-cleansing fruits and crackers.

Since the Moore Brothers' wine tasting events commonly sell out, purchasing tickets in advance is recommended.

To reserve your own table at the event, or to purchase tickets for individual seating, contact Pat Ciervo at 856-854-8927, or Tom Leonard at 215-605-8070.
