CRANFORD, NJ - After a small fire in an exhaust fan in the kitchen put the popular eatery out of commission for a couple weeks, Ambeli Greek Taverna is opening its doors again to customers on Friday.

The owners took to social media to apologize for the delay, as their original estimate was a few days, and thanked the community for their patience.

"We would like to thank all the inspectors involved for their assistance in helping us open as fast as possible," the post said. "A special thank you to all of you, our guests, for your words of encouragement and patience during this outage."
