The Mental Health Association in New Jersey (MHANJ) is thrilled to announce that our 19th Annual Walk for Wellness and Recovery will be on Saturday, May 30, 2026, at Nomahegan Park in Cranford, New Jersey. This year, we are embracing the theme: "Ignite the Spark that Creates Change."

We are pleased to welcome our returning partners, the Rotary Club of Mental Health Advocates and returning for the third year, the National Center for Advocacy and Recovery. We hope you will consider joining us.

In today’s fast-paced and ever-changing world, the need for mental health awareness, support, and advocacy is more critical than ever. Our Walk is a powerful opportunity to encourage individuals to prioritize their mental wellness every day of the year.

There’s something for everyone- adults, children, and dogs of all ages! Event highlights include: Interactive Wellness Activities, refreshments, games, crafts, educational information and special surprises for the whole community.

As always, we will have sponsor and community tables in the popular Information Alley where organizations have the opportunity to meet walk attendees and share resources and information. We will also offer Recovery Scholarships (inviting individuals in recovery and their family members to enjoy the day).

Proceeds will be directed to support our advocacy efforts including work to support increased access to treatment, particularly on behalf of those with serious mental illness.
