CRANFORD, NJ — Cranford Public Schools has been named to the 2026 list of Best Communities for Music Education by the NAMM Foundation, a national recognition program highlighting school districts with strong music education offerings.
The honor recognizes districts that provide access to high-quality music instruction across grade levels and demonstrate sustained support for arts programming.
In a statement, Superintendent Mark Cantagallo said the recognition reflects the work happening across the district.
“Being named one of the Best Communities for Music Education is a tremendous honor for Cranford Public Schools and a reflection of the passion and dedication of our students and staff,” Cantagallo said. “This recognition highlights our district’s ongoing commitment to providing meaningful opportunities for all students to explore and excel in the arts.”
The NAMM Foundation, the charitable arm of the National Association of Music Merchants, highlights school communities nationwide that prioritize access to music education and related opportunities.
