CRANFORD, NJ —The Cranford Police Department announced this week that Detective Ryan McSharry was honored by the New Jersey Narcotic Enforcement Officers Association on May 21 for his work on the long-running, multi-agency investigation.
The operation took place on May 29, 2025, when law enforcement agencies executed 14 search warrants in several New Jersey communities, including Linden, Roselle, Elizabeth, Rahway and Newark, according to the Union County Prosecutor's Office.
Authorities said the investigation targeted a drug distribution network operating mainly in Linden and Roselle. Prosecutors reported that investigators seized more than $81,000 in cash, six handguns, and multiple types of drugs during the operation.
Several Union County police departments assisted in the investigation, including Cranford police.
