Bags Of Cocaine, Heroin, Cash Seized In Drug Bust: Cranford Cops
A tip from a concerned citizen led to the arrest of Kevin Frullo, a man living on Hawthorne Street. .
CRANFORD, NJ - A 46-year-old Cranford man was arrested and charged with multiple counts of drug possession after police were tipped off to his activity by a concerned citizen, officials said.
Kevin Frullo was one of two men arrested in connection with illegal drug activity taking place on Hawthorne Street in Cranford, police said, noting that 38-year-old Wesley Atherely from Newark was also arrested.
After a tip from a concerned citizen, the Cranford Police Department watched the home and Detectives were able to identify Frullo as the resident of the Cranford home and suspected him of engaging in drug activity, police said.

On Wednesday morning, members of the Cranford Police Investigative Division setup surveillance in the vicinity and arrested Frullo outside of his home and charged him with Possession of a Controlled Dangerous Substance and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, police said.
In addition, a 2019 Honda Civic was also stopped in the area after Detectives witnessed the driver, Atherley, conduct a drug transaction with Frullo, police said. Atherely was charged with several counts of Distribution of a Controlled Dangerous Substance, Possession of a Controlled Dangerous Substance and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

On scene Detectives located and seized over 500 folds of Heroin, 28 bags of Cocaine, 3 bags of Crack-Cocaine and $2,046 in cash from Atherely’s vehicle, police said.
Both men were processed at Cranford Police Headquarters and released pending a Union County Superior Court appearance, police said.
