Blood Drive In Cranford Monday

CRANFORD, NJ - To help combat a shortage of blood in the region the Cranford Police Department has scheduled a blood drive for Monday.

According to officials, the drive is to take place at Police Headquarters, located at 8 Springfield Avenue, and will be held from 3 p.m. through 7 p.m. For this drive, Cranford has partnered with Vitalant.

According to their website, Vitalant exists to help people realize their life-transforming potential by offering convenient blood donation opportunities and sharing our expertise in transfusion medicine. Founded in 1943, Vitalant is one of the nation’s oldest and largest nonprofit transfusion medicine organizations.
