Busted Headlamp Leads To Drug Arrest: Cranford Police
Taylor Harris was charged with possession after a motor vehicle stop, police said.
CRANFORD, NJ - A 23-year-old Fords woman was charged with possession of under 50g of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia after a motor vehicle stop on Feb. 12, according to the Cranford Police Department.
According to authorities, Patrolman Jason D’Agostino stopped a 2015 Honda on Raritan Road and Coleman Avenue for an inoperable headlamp. Following an investigation at the scene, D’Agostino arrested the driver, Taylor Harris, for
suspected marijuana found in her possession, police said. She was processed and provided with a Municipal Court appearance date.
In addition, she was issued motor vehicle summonses for maintenance of lamps,
tinted windows and possession of a controlled dangerous substance in a motor vehicle, police said.
