Cranford’s Pumpkin Carve-Out & Parade of Pumpkins Returns October 17
Cranford, NJ – Jersey Central Art Studios (JCAS), with support from the Cranford Jaycees and the Hanson Park Conservancy, will host the 12th Annual Pumpkin Carve-Out and Parade of Pumpkins on Saturday, October 17, 2026, at Hanson Park, 38 Springfield Avenue, Cranford.
This free, family-friendly event invites participants of all ages to showcase their creativity:
• Pumpkin Drop-Off: 10:00a.m. – 2:00 p.m. (registration forms available at www.jcas.org or on-site).• Parade of Pumpkins: 5:00 – 8:30 p.m. (last entry at 8:30 p.m. sharp).
Visitors can stroll Hanson Park’s candlelit paths and enjoy the pumpkins displayed on pedestals throughout the garden. Prizes will be awarded for funniest, scariest, and most original carvings in three age groups: 4–8, 9–16, and 17+. Pumpkins may be picked up after the event beginning at 9:00 PM on the night of the event.
The Pumpkin Carve-Out has become a beloved Cranford tradition, drawing thousands of visitors from across the area.
Presented by JCAS, a community of artists and citizens dedicated to raising awareness of the arts and integrating creativity into everyday life, with the support of the Cranford Jaycees.
