Calvary Lutheran Church Invites You to Worship this Easter Season

Good Friday & Easter Sunday Services

Calvary Lutheran Church invites everyone to celebrate the death and the resurrection of our Lord Savior Jesus Christ.

Join us on Friday March 29 at 7:30pm for our Good Friday Tenebrae service. At this worship service, witness and reflect as God’s son, Jesus Christ, offers up his life for us and our sins. While mourning the death of Christ, we also celebrate God’s sacrifice, hence Good Friday, as it was on this day that Jesus suffered and died in our place.

He Is Risen! Rejoice on Easter morning, April 1st.

At 8:30am, a Children’s Service will be held for families with young children. Song and story will celebrate the resurrection of Christ. This service includes Holy Communion but not a sermon. After the service, an Easter Egg hunt will take place in the courtyard. Bring your own basket!

Our Festival Easter service begins at 9:30am. Special choral and instrumental music will be performed in celebration of the hope that Christ’s resurrection offers. Holy Communion will be served. In his resurrection, Jesus overcame death, a pledge that we too will be raised from the dead. “We have put our hope in the living God, who is the Savior of all people.” (1 Timothy 4:10) Raise your voice in song and prayer this Easter and rejoice in this amazing gift.
