Celebrate Christmas at Calvary Lutheran Church

Calvary Lutheran Church invites you to celebrate the birth of Jesus. The church will host three different worship opportunities on Christmas Eve, one of which is sure to fit your schedule and help you find the joy of the season.

The Young Children’s Nativity Service begins at 5pm. Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me” and this service has been planned with them in mind. Come to this loud and joyous service to hear the story of Christ’s birth and sing your favorite carols. This worship is informal and usually lasts 30-45 minutes.

The Family Christmas Eve Service begins at 7pm. The youth will tell the Christmas story at this service and help lead worship. Carols and Holy Communion included. Dress as you feel comfortable. This service usually lasts an hour.

At 10pm, attend our Christmas Eve Festival Candlelight Service. This service is both a time of celebration and reflection, as we joyfully anticipate the birth of the Christ child. Holy Communion will be served. Dress as you feel comfortable. The service usually lasts an hour.

Calvary also praises Christ on Christmas morning. Come at 10:15am to welcome the Son of God, who “became flesh and lived among us, and we have seen his glory.... full of grace and truth”. (John 1:14)
