Crack Arrest On Springfield Avenue: Cranford Police

Nicole Pellegrino was charged with possession, police said.

CRANFORD, NJ - A 28-year-old Sayerville woman was charged with possession after a motor vehicle stop on Nov. 26, according to the Cranford Police Department.

According to authorities, Patrolman Daniel Donnerstag stopped a 2002 BMW on Springfield Avenue for tinted windows. Following an investigation on scene, Donnerstag arrested a passenger, Nicole Pellegrino, for possession of a hypodermic syringe and suspected crack-cocaine found inside the vehicle, police said.

She was processed and provided with a Superior Court appearance date. In addition, the driver was issued a motor vehicle summons for tinted windows, police said.
