Crack Pipe Possession Arrest on High Street: Cranford Police

George Brown had several active arrest warrants, police said.

CRANFORD, NJ - A 61-year-old Elizabeth man was stopped for being "suspicious" and arrested for having a crack pipe on Oct. 4, according to the Cranford Police Department.

According to authorities, Patrolman Corey LoForte stopped a suspicious male on South Avenue East and High Street. Following an investigation on scene, LoForte arrested the individual, George Brown, for possession of a suspected crack pipe found on him, police said.

He was processed and later found to have active arrest warrants out of Cranford, Linden and Elizabeth.
