Cranford Celebrates Two Business Openings

Sister Nails and Glow Beauty Bar have opened in longstanding vacancies, officials said.

CRANFORD, NJ - A pair of ribbon cuttings capped off summer in downtown Cranford last month as a pair of businesses filled some empty storefronts on North Union Avenue.

Mayor Patrick Giblin, DMC Director Gabe Bailer and Cranford Chamber of Commerce Director Dottie Baniewicz attended the ribbon cutting with the owners of Sister Nails located at 7 North Union Ave. and Glow Beauty Bar located at 15 North Union Ave.

Glow's space was previously occupied by Redfield Blonsky.

Glow Beauty Bar currently has an Edison location, and according to their website offers a variety of service and apparel. According to Downtown Cranford, Sister's Nails offers manicures, pedicures, and waxing services in a "space is fit for a queen."

These store fronts were empty for over two years.
