Cranford Clay Courts Club to Host 20th Anniversary Party

The Cranford Clay Courts Club is hosting a 20th Anniversary Year Party and Open House on Wednesday, July 27th from 6:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. The event is open to all Club Members, as well as the General Public, especially those who are interested in playing on the Club's Har-Tru Courts under the Club's new Lighting System.

The Club will supply food and refreshments for all. In addition, over the course of the evening, singles and doubles matches will be played as well as a number of “fun” skill competitions, and all present are invited to join in the festivities. Smooth-soled tennis sneakers, a tennis racket and a smile are all that is required. As part of the festivities, the Club will award a prize to the person who brings the oldest or most unusual Tennis Racket to the event. Dig out the old “woodies” or “steelies”, and the Club looks forward to meeting folks on the 27 of July at 6:30 p.m. In the event of rain, the Barbecue will be held on Thursday, July 28th.

The club is located at 249 Springfield Ave, across the street from the Canoe Club.
