
CRANFORD, NJ — Here are the unofficial results of the 2017 Township Committee and school board.
Township Committee:
In Cranford there were four candidates vying for two three-year seats on the township committee.

Democrats Patrick Giblin received 4,157 votes and Jean-Albert Maisonneuve 3,728 votes to win over republicans Andis Kalnins 3,452 votes and Richard Buontempo with 3,435 votes.
Board of Education:

Four candidates were vying for the three, three-year term seats.
Lisa A. Carbone received 3,634 votes, Kurt T. Petschow, Jr. with 2,995 votes and Kristen Mallon with 2,737 votes over Rita Della Valle with 2,491 votes.
Daniel DeMarco ran unopposed for the one, one-year unexpired term and received 3,204 votes.
Results are unofficial until certified by the Union County Clerk and do not include absentee ballots.
