Cranford EMT Honored With Excellence Award

CRANFORD, NJ - Alexandra Valdez was awarded the EMT Excellence Award from Overlook Medical Center during the 23rd annual Excellence in EMS Awards Ceremony.

The event, which took place on May 23 at Galloping Hill Golf Course, celebrated the important role of EMS first responders in the communities they serve and highlighted the accomplishments of standout members from local squads in the region to help mark National EMS Week.

Valdez rides the Tuesday night shift and is heading to NYU to study computer science.
