Cranford Has One of the Best Elementary Schools in NJ

Cranford, NJ -- Cranford has made the list as having one of the Best Elementary Schools in New Jersey according to Niche.com.

Cranford’s elementary school that made the list:

• Orange Avenue School comes in at 98 out 100 and received an “A+” from the website.

“It has 794 students in grades 3-8,” the site posted. “According to state standards, 90% of students at this school are considered proficient in math and/or reading.”

Schools were ranked based on state test scores, student-teacher ratio, student diversity, teacher quality, and the overall quality of the school district.

The top three schools in New Jersey were found in Short Hills: Glenwood Elementary (1), Deerfield Elementary (2) and Hartshorn Elementary (3).
