Cranford Man Charged With Heroin Possession: Police

Justin Sanzo was arrested after a traffic stop, police said.

CRANFORD, NJ - A 47-year-old Cranford man was arrested and charged with drug possession after a motor vehicle stop on Oct. 11, according to the Cranford Township Police.

Justin Sanzo was stopped by Patrolman Gregory Federici for driving a 2007 Chevrolet on Cranford Terrace for having a brake lamp out, police said. Following an investigation on scene, Federici Sanzo for suspected heroin found on him, police said. He was charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance and possession of drug paraphernalia, police said.

Sanzo was processed and provided with a Superior Court appearance date.

In addition, Sanzo was issued motor vehicle summonses for maintenance of lamps, suspended driver and possession of a controlled dangerous substance in a motor vehicle, police said.
