Cranford Man Drove Drunk Without Headlights: Police
Tavone Johnson was driving at 2 a.m. without his lights on, police said.
CRANFORD, NJ - A 29-year-old Cranford man was charged with driving while intoxicated after a motor vehicle stop on Oct. 6, according to the Cranford Police Department.
According to authorities, Patrolman Courtney Holder stopped Tavone Johnson shortly after 2 a.m. for driving his 2019 Toyota on South Avenue East and Hollywood Avenue or driving without headlights on.
Following an investigation on scene, Holder arrested Johnson for driving while intoxicated, police said. He was processed and provided with a Municipal Court appearance date. In addition, Johnson was issued a motor vehicle summonses for driving without lighted head lamps, police said.
