Cranford Man Indicted For Sharing Child Porn
Eugene Jukniewicz had more than 25 computer files depicting a range of acts constituting child pornography at his home: UC Prosecutor

Cranford, NJ -- A Cranford man, accused of sharing images and videos of child pornography over the Internet, was indicted Wednesday, acting Union County Prosecutor Grace H. Park announced.
Eugene Jukniewicz, 48, is charged with second-degree distribution of child pornography and third-degree possession of child pornography.
Jukniewicz could face 5 to 10 years in state prison for the second-degree crimes, with a minimum of five years to be served before the possibility of parole.

Police found more than 25 computer files depicting a range of acts constituting child pornography on his computer and tablet at his home in December 2015, according to Union County Assistant Prosecutor Shawn Barnes, who is prosecuting the case.
Jukniewicz was arrested without incident at the time. State Superior Court Judge Regina Caulfield set bail at $150,000, and he was lodged in Union County Jail.

His arrest was the result of a month-long investigation led by Detective Daniel Gallagher of the Prosecutor’s Office’s Special Prosecutions Unit and initiated by a referral from the New Jersey Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force last fall.
