Cranford May Lose Store, Car Repair Site: See Why

The new plans would bring a different service for drivers.

CRANFORD, NJ — Residents may soon have to find a new place to have their car serviced after a developer submitted an application to demolish a business.

Mehrok Realty LLC gave the Cranford Zoning Board of Adjustment a proposal for a new project at 401 North Avenue E. to be reviewed at Monday night's reorganization meeting.

A Sunoco gas station with a retail store and service garage currently occupies the lot. The gas station would remain on-site.
