Cranford Primary Election 2026: See Who’s On The Ballot

Voters in Cranford will head to the polls June 2 to decide several Township Committee races in this year's primary election.

CRANFORD, NJ — Patch is bringing readers a look at who is running, where to vote, and what residents should know before casting their ballots.

Among the issues that have recently generated discussion in Cranford are redevelopment, transparency in local government, municipal spending, and the debate surrounding data centers and zoning following the proposed AI data center project in nearby Kenilworth.

Cranford Township Committee

Five candidates are running for Township Committee seats with three-year terms.

Election Day Information

The New Jersey Primary Election will be held Tuesday, June 2, 2026. Polls will be open from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m.

According to Cranford officials, all mail-in ballots have already been mailed to residents. Voters who did not receive a ballot are advised to contact Union County at 908-527-4996.

Officials are also encouraging residents to visit the Union County Votes website for updates on early voting, ballot drop boxes, polling locations, and mail-in ballot information.
